Overview

Stickabulary is developed by SSH Studio. It turns photos of real-world objects into vocabulary stickers. We keep data collection minimal and do not sell your personal information.

Account

You sign in with Apple or Google via Firebase Authentication. We receive a user identifier and, depending on your choice, your email address — used only to create your account and sync your board across devices.

Photos & camera

To identify an object, the App needs a photo of it — taken with the camera or chosen from your library. The object is cut out on your device, and the resulting image is sent to our backend and to OpenAI so we can tell you what it is. Your sticker images are stored in your own private cloud folder to sync your board across devices. We do not use your photos for any other purpose, and we do not make them public.

What we store

AI processing

When you snap an object, the image is sent to OpenAI to detect the object and generate the word, pronunciation, and description for your chosen language. Common results are cached (by object label and language) to improve speed and reduce cost. Avoid photographing sensitive documents or people you don't want analyzed.
